If you’ve been to Nashville anytime in the last few years, chances are you’ve heard of fashionABLE, a social enterprise that helps create a sustainable living for women in Africa. With each scarf purchased, you help alleviate the effects of poverty on women in Africa.
Even if you haven’t heard of fashionABLE, it’s likely you’ve seen plenty of their beautiful scarves wrapped around some of the best gals (and guys) in Nashville. I love the fact that FashionABLE works very closely with another Nashville-based non-profit, Mocha Club. Together, they work tirelessly to aid local leaders in Africa to create permanent (and positive) change.
At this time of year when we all can get caught up thinking about ourselves, it’s great to see a social enterprise that continues to focus on others. Check them out…
I’m so excited to start off #12days1story by giving away an Etanesh Scarf in Black Cherry/Dusty Rose (pictured above) to a Growing Up Gibson reader. This giveaway ends Monday 12/3 at 7 A.M.
